God, Country, Freedom
November 11, 2010I believe that our culture today takes for granted the freedom that we have as citizens of the United States of America. Today is Veteran’s Day 2011. The brave men & women of our Nation’s Armed Forces give their lives daily to protect and defend our freedom to live as we desire. I am grateful to them and their families to make that priviledge possible.
As a Christian I am thankful for the freedom that Jesus provided for mankind on the cross. True freedom comes only through being free in who are through a relaitonship with Jesus Christ. God’s love for us is so much that we can not do anything to stop that love flowing from God to us. God’s love for us is not based our performance, but who he is! We can never get away from God’s love according to the Bible.
Thank you God for allowing me to live in a free country and a life free from guilt and shame.
